      From Tom Till:

"This image was one of my selects for the show. You've seen a million giraffe pictures, have your ever seen one like this? I thought the image was brilliant, I wouldn't change anything about it. Congratulations to the photographer!"

    Artist Statement

"This photo was taken in Etosha National Park in Namibia in 2010. We had stopped at a waterhole to photograph some lovely birds, when I spotted this giraffe who came in to drink. I had my long bird lens with a teleconverter on my Nikon D300. There was no time to change lenses so I quickly composed this shot of just the giraffe’s head, legs, and reflection. Later that night when I saw it on my computer, I felt I had a winner. As a wildlife photographer you have to be prepared that you always seem to have the wrong lens at the wrong time and you just make the best of it!!"
